My Approach
As a therapist, I believe in taking a holistic approach to therapy, treating the whole person and not just their symptoms. I use evidence-based techniques and work collaboratively with my clients to help them achieve their goals.
Individual Therapy for Adults

Who can benefit from therapy?
Anyone can benefit from therapy, but especially those struggling with a mental health challenge, struggling to connect in their relationships, and/or are looking to improve their overall emotional well-being. I work with adult clients of all backgrounds.
How do I pay for therapy?
You can use the following insurance: AETNA, Cigna and United Healthcare. If you do not have insurance, the fee is $140 for individual sessions.
What can I expect in my first therapy session?
In your first therapy session, we will discuss your reasons for seeking therapy and your goals for treatment. We will also talk about your history and any current symptoms you may be experiencing.
How often should I attend therapy?
The frequency of therapy sessions will depend on your individual needs and goals. Many clients attend therapy once a week, while others may attend less frequently. We will work with you to develop a personalized treatment plan.
Teletherapy
I offer both in person and telehealth appointments. Teletherapy sessions are conducted securely and confidentially through the Simplepractice portal.

Natalia Olvera, LCSW
I am a psychotherapist licensed in Texas with 6 years of experience. I work with adults in individual therapy. I hold a Masters in Social Work from the University of Texas Arlington.
I began my clinical career working at a Rape Crisis Center. It was there that I saw the resiliency of trauma survivors and people's capacity for growth. While working with sexual trauma survivors, I realized that many of my clients were struggling to experience safe and pleasurable sexual connections. I wanted to empower survivors to be able to experience embodied pleasure. Due to this, I decided to get additional training specific to sexual health. In early 2024 I completed a year long Sexual Health Certificate Program at the University of Michigan and officially added sex therapy services to my practice. I am also late diagnosed Autistic and I draw from my own experiences to make sure my practice is affirming and supportive to neurodiverse individuals.
I am originally from Mexico and emigrated to the US as a child, and have lived in the DFW area since. I have four cats, whom you may see sometimes in the background of our sessions. In my free time I enjoy reading, traveling, and trying new restaurants or experimenting with new recipes at home.
